Dan Nicollet - Principal Consultant
The principal consultant for OrigoTerra, Dan has more than 15 years experience with the software life cycle (software development, product management, sales and business development) in the software industry in the US and Europe. Key chapters of his career include:
- lead Web Developer at Netscape’s Netcenter, the online portal of Netscape between 1997 and 1999,
- managing the launch of Infoseek in Germany for Go.com (Infoseek/Disney merger) in 1999 ,
- The internationalization of a web naming and addressing platform and the creation and development of an international channel sales for RealNames in 2000-2002 from California, then London,
- managing a multi-country $5M software integration project for OpenHarbor (now TradeBeam) at Renault-Nissan Group in Paris, France,
- opening of a US subsidiary for German search engine software vendor Exorbyte and subsequent expansion into the US SaaS ecommerce market.
Dan also has a solid industrial and energy technology background acquired earlier in his career in the water treatment industry, through continuing education and current smart grid and energy storage projects for OrigoTerra.
Dan holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, the American School of International Management, a Bachelor in Business Administration from Temple University and speaks fluent French and English.

Eric is a consummate internet software technologist. He built his experience for 15 years in diverse industries (telecom, software, consulting, and online media) always at the convergence of marketing and technology. Eric has worked in both startups and larger companies (British Telecom, Altran, and more.) Eric has worked in 6 different countries (France, England, Spain, Belgium, U.S.A. and the United Arab Emirates.) Eric is great at managing and motivating teams of mixed skills professionals towards a common goal.
Eric’s company, BeFlip.com, provides online identity management, web communication consulting, and project management services to clients around the world.
Eric holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management and speaks fluently French, English, and Spanish.
Teruaki (Terry) Tsubota (坪田晃明) – Consultant
Terry makes his know-how available to entrepreneurs, in forming business strategies that are compatible with investors’ thought processes and methodologies for evaluating their potential opportunities. Terry has been actively consulting his clients such as REDpoint International since he relocated to Portland, OR area.
PreneurVision™ Strategies International, LLC is his own consulting firm which provides entrepreneurs with a multitude of essential services, as well as an advocate for entrepreneurs that provides support in launching their endeavors. Terry Tsubota founded PreneurVision in 2008 in order to serve as an advocate for the entrepreneur community.
Terry developed his expertise in entrepreneurial fundraising strategies as he played an instrumental role in successfully raising over $30 million at Andor International, and as he continued his research in this subject area in the following years. Andor was a startup company in Silicon Valley lead by Dr. Gene Amdahl who had been the chief architect of IBM Mainframe Computers. Later, Terry would also contribute in launching Andor Asia, a regional sales and marketing branch of Andor in Hong Kong. Terry’s full fluency in Japanese and his intimate familiarity with Japanese culture was also indispensable in circumventing the barriers often experienced by non-natives, and thus pivotal in securing funding agreements from the firms in Japan.
